De vredgade krigsveteranerna Thurz, Svavel och Blitzkrieg manglar efter 7 år  sönder  krigszonen..

Med en blasfemisk orkanstyrka som lätt skulle hamna på nivå 666 på richterskalan injiceras de svallande blodvenerna med en rejäl dos oheligt satanisk blackmetal av Sorghegard.

krigsdemonerna från norr leder en med assistans av det träffsäkra ljudmaterialet en rätt ut på en totalt illasinnad utflykt till sälla marker och karga ödelagda landskap och som hotar meja ner varje hinder som kommer i deras väg.

Jag skulle lätt med all säkerhet säga att detta är är årets blackmetalalbum nr 1 anno 2011..hittills!

Det enda invändandet jag eventuellt skulle kunna komma med är att vissa partier på låten Chanelling The Bloodstorm låter ungefär som en uråldrig stenkaka där nålen hamnat i samma läge.

Men annars är det infernaliska vredesmodet i sången i träffsäker perfekt harmoni med ljudintervallen i den intensivt slagfärdiga rytmiken.

Obarmhärtigt excellent produktion!

Att plocka ut någon bästa låt från detta album skulle bli lika svår uppgift som att välja mellan pest och kolera, men om jag skulle vara tvungen väljer jag nog Sodomy and Goatlust.

5 saker du inte skulle klara dig utan?  – Musik, vänner, gitarren, pengar och självkänslan.

Din syn på musiklivet? lokalt,regionalt globalt?

Märkligt nog spelar geografin en stor roll i musiklivet, åtminstonde för att kunna definiera en viss genre. Själv föredrar jag ett old-school sound med snormycket energi och känsla. Det ska kännas att man lyssnar på hårdrock och då får man tolka fritt i hur man väljer att definiera detta begrepp. Sen om bandet ifråga är från Skåne eller Texas har inte speciellt stor betydelse om du frågar mig.

Jag känner även för att tillägga att jag tidigare spelat och grundat Death Maze där vi var tre tjejer och två killar. Det är en förbannat stor skillnad på att vara av det kvinnliga könet och visa det man står för och att man faktiskt är lika kapabel till att vara musiker lika mycket som av den manliga arten. Men visst, jag kan hålla med om att det inte är så häftigt att se en brud lira i ett black metal band, jag skulle själv ha svårt att fatta respekt för den människan eller det bandet. Det är en norm och ett fullkomligt mänskligt sätt att se på saken. Det betyder dock inte att det är “okej”. Det finns alldeles för många tjejer som inte vet vad fan dom håller på med och spelar i band för att dom tycker att det är häftigt. Alla har inte den attityden, tänk på det nästa gång du ser ett kvinnlig musiker.

Om du skulle förutspå trenden..hur tror du det kommer se ut om typ 10 – 15 år? 100 år?

Trender kommer och går och det är inget jag personligen följer. Jag är dock helt övertygad om att vår yngre generation kommer komma med ännu fler pinsamma genre, med lite tur kommer det komma ett par vettiga band men jag är en aning bitter och skeptisk till detta. Ett klockrent exempel på detta skulle kunna vara “thrashcore” som jag fick höras om häromdan. Det kommer hända mycket under bara en 10 års period och det är svårt att förutspå hur musiken kommer att se ut om 100 år. En annan sak jag står fast vid är att musikbranschen troligtvis kommer få det mycket svårare. Med tanke på att dagens generation förväntas få all musik gratis via Internet kommer konceptet att köpa hårdvaror falla så småningom. Vilket jag anser vara oerhört respektlöst gentemot artister som kämpar för att nå ut till en viss publik som inte får ett smack för det de gör och tro mig, de förtjänar det.

Har du nån gång känt att du skulle vilja lägga av med det du sysslar med nu och göra nåt helt annat? I såfall vad?

Absolut, jag ser alltid till att bryta på mina vanor och trender eftersom jag avskyr att vara fast vid vissa saker. Jag flyttade till Stockholm för att slippa det ständigt rullande schemat och då la jag även mina projekt åt sidan. Jag tror att det kan vara bra att byta jobb ibland för att ta del av andra perspektiv som kan ge en helt ny syn på livet. Jag har andra projekt på gång och skriver mycket eget, varje dag är en ny utmaning.

Livs filosofi?  – Se till att man sysslar med det man trivs med och brinner för. Lägg formalian och falska vänner åt sidan och ta vara på det du har.

Politisk ståndpunkt? – Så långt ifrån Mona Sahlin och hela vänster-gänget man kan komma. Att leva på skattebetalarnas pengar och löka i soffan är inget jag tolererar och har noll respekt till människor som har den livsfilosofin.

Religion?  – Nej. Vetenskap. Religionen är människans påhitt och det är inget jag tar del av. Finner det dock väldigt intressant i hur det hjälper folk att finna en bättre självkänsla om man tror på en större makt.

Hur anser du det utopiska samhället skulle se ut?

Det finns inget idealiskt samhälle och det är inget jag utgår ifrån. Det är människor som gjort samhället till vad det har blivit och det är vi som bestämmer hur det kommer att se ut i framtiden. Kort sagt – Det blir vad du gör det till.[Mjuk brytning][Mjuk brytning]Husdjur? hund/kattmänniska? Kattmänniska.

Roligaste /tråkigaste minnet?

Tråkiga minnen är lärorika och jag tar alltid del av dem för att kunna gå vidare och fokusera på de minnen som faktiskt får en att bjuda på ett leende. Jag tänkte inte gå in på några detaljer.

There is no such person for me. Mental communication with dead people brings a tribute to the perception, so this
crack may serve well as a vector for further knowledge of the Dark.

I can’t say anything about the local music scene… not interested in it. Throughout the world, I can mark out
some people creating at the intersection of ritual practices and musical forms of Ritual-ambient.

If you could predict the trend .. how do you think it will look like the type 10 – 15 years? 100 years?

Time breaks down the primitive basis of live sounds and action. I don’t take into account the black metal.
Ritual-ambient is more decent form for thoughts, reflection.

Have you ever felt that you would like to make off with whatever you are doing now and do something completely different?

I don’t think about such things. My path is completely saturated, it’s possible to work on the musical and visual
forms, to improve as a leader and creator. I think that such thoughts sow the seeds of doubt, you must demonstrate
consciousness and will to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Life philosophy?

Self-awareness. Perception of the world through the prism of Dark hypostases. Searching.

Not interested in politics.

Religion?

At this stage of my spiritual development, religion is a source of inspiration and search. The study of exorcism

Ceremony Of Godslaying album is the final version of the overall work. Participated in the recording Torturer (Mor Dagor, Belphegor). 8 tracks + video to complete the integrity of the album. The concept is based on: scripture, female Demonic beginning, gospel, exorcism, consideration of Darkness hypostases from the position of the Devil Worship and the choice … The completion of ideas – cross of sheep in the video by the echoes of Agnus Dei Mass. Mixing and mastering is scheduled in mid-July, at the Stage One Studio (DE). Sound Director – Andy Classen.

Barbarity grundades i Kostroma, Ryssland redan 2002. Efter några repetitioner spelade bandet in sin debut “The Wish To Bleed” som släpptes via More Hate Productions 2004. Etiketten skulle också släppa en Split CD med 4 Barbarity spår. Barbarity kom sedan att signa en deal med Blacksmith Productions, som släppte “Hell Is Here” 2005, och “Enough Graves For Everybody’ ” under 2006. Blacksmith Productions erhöll också rätten att åter släppa bandets debutalbum med 4 låtar från SPLIT-en som bonus. Denna re-release 2009 innehåller också multimediafiler med bandets biografi, bilder, videoclip för “Repository Of Tormented Souls”, en live-video, 12-sidigt häfte med nya cover-art och layout. Albumet är välproducerad och de flesta av låtarna är riktigt korta, mindre än tre och en halv minut.   Witchery – Dont Fear The Reaper, CD

For a band whose style was virtually defined by albums that thrashed at very high speeds from start to finish, Witchery’s long anticipated fourth opus, Don’t Fear the Reaper, is astonishingly slow. Almost suspiciously so, prompting the usual questions about the feasibility of alien abduction (which the bandmembers would probably happily confirm) and whether their fans will revolt and renege them for having such audacity. Some invariably will, but since most know that Witchery have never taken themselves as seriously as most extreme metal bands, chances are they could probably care less about such minutiae. Especially because, aside from their more moderately paced rhythms, new tracks like “The Ritual,” “Damned in Hell,” and “Styx” bear all of the other well-known Witchery qualities of wickedly evil melodies intertwined with abnormally clean, catchy riffs, and generally uncomplicated arrangements that make them far easier to digest than the rest of the Scandinavian metal milieu. The song “Ashes” is especially deliberate, but uses unapologetically cartoonish gothic organs to alleviate its visions of cemetery dread, and helps make up for frontman Toxine’s unusually somber lyrics this time out. In fact, where his disarmingly fun tales of devilry were often the highlight of previous works, he’s seems conspicuously less dominant on Don’t Fear the Reaper, leaving the rest of the guys to forge ahead instrumentally across the marshal-percussion driven tandem of “Disturbing the Beast” and “War Piece,” and the surprisingly memorable (for an instrumental) “The Wait of the Pyramids,” which climaxes in an absolutely massive finale reminiscent of Metallica’s “Call of Ktulu.” Wrapping up the loose ends, speed fetishists are occasionally given their fix via road racers like “Immortal Death,” “Cannon Fodder,” and the quite excellent “Plague Rider,” while album standout “Stigmatized” masterfully melds the best of both domains. So keep in mind that, at a time when most every other extreme metal band and their grandmothers are boarding the neo-thrash train, it’s to Witchery’s credit and independence that they choose to head in the exact opposite direction. This and the reality that Don’t Fear the Reaper is simply an excellent death metal record should supersede listeners’ preconceived expectations.

By combining the influences of the nascent thrash of the mid-’80s with the increased spittle and gristle of the modern black metal of the band’s homeland, Witchery made a name for themselves on the underground. With the release of Symphony for the Devil, the Swedish troupe perfected the admixture and made a classic album on par with some of the legendary artists of the genre. The riffs come at you fast, such as on the chugging neo-classical thrash of instrumental “Bone Mill” and the blow-out-your-doors intensity of “Wicked,” or decelerated to grindy mid-tempos, such as on such as on the Motörhead-inspired “Unholy War,” and with varied tempos within the parameters of a single song. (“Shallow Grave,” for example, melds doomy passages and lightning-quick solos immaculately.) The key is the guitars here, always bigger than life and leading every song like a general would troops to battle. Though the production allows for the other instrumentation to be heard — witness “Enshrined” and its prominently displayed bouncy, fuzzy bassline — it is the amazing fretwork that drives Symphony for the Devil to the dizzying heights to which it aspires. Toxine’s vocals still resemble a poor-man’s Lee Dorian, which isn’t to say that he’s in need of replacing; however, it’s understandable if some see his pipes as the weak link in the Witchery ensemble. But this is a minor complaint. On this, the band’s third full-length (not counting an EP and a disc that retroverts to the Satanic Slaughter salad days of bandleader Ztephan Dark), Witchery takes the aggression of the earliest Slayer and Metallica discs to new levels while adding the songwriting abilities that both of those acts would find later. There’s nothing watered down about Symphony for the Devil, except for the tears of joy from rivetheads who have been looking for a disc this satisfying for a decade.

  Wolfen Society (Acheron/Dark Funeral) – Conquer Divine, MCD

Released via No Fascion Records 2001

Wolfen Society is an illustrious occult misanthropic side project assembled in late 2000 by Vincent Crowley of Acheron and Lord Ahriman from Dark Funeral. They completed the line up with drummer Kyle Severn and Vital Remains singer Jeff Gruslin. Also involved were guitarist Riktor Ravensbrack and keyboard player Thomas Thjorn of Industrialists The Electric Hellfire Club. However, just prior to recording of the four track EP ‘Conquer Divine’ in September of 2000 Gruslin backed out of the venture and Crowley duly took over the lead vocal role with Thjorn supporting. The EP, released by No Fashion Records in Europe and House Of Death in North America, would include a notable cover version of Carnivores ‘Race War’.

  Infernal – The Infernal Compendium,CD

Jeezuz how can anyone pick out such an original name as ‘Infernal’. This among all others Infernal hails from Colombia and everything about this band feels like clichés, the productions sucks and the singer with his high-pitched screaming sounds just to mad. But after all it isn’t as bad as it sounds. This is punishing and primitive old school black/thrash metal. Many of the songs (‘A Forgotten Place’ etc.) bring ‘Bergtatt’ era Ulver to mind and overall the work has a strong Norwegian influence. All the way down to the bad grammar and the crude and ugly cover, it’s all there. The level of technicality is quite high too, just listen to the instrumentals ‘The Infernal Throne’ and ‘Evil Millennium’. There’s some keyboards here and there, but they get drowned by the other instruments and cannot be heard without paying a great deal of attention to the songs. Its not bad even if 70 minutes feels like to much but its
good for driving annoying people away from you and good for killing bugs too!
